Optional chatbot — consent before loading
The chatbot launcher and this consent notice are provided locally. No chatbot script or request is sent to GoHighLevel/LeadConnector or OpenAI, and no LeadConnector chatbot identifier is stored or accessed, unless you first tick the separate, unchecked checkbox and select “Enable and open AI chat”. On activation, LeadConnector stores or accesses page-visit, browser/device-fingerprint, attribution and chat-session identifiers in local storage and contacts its attribution service. This is used to associate the page visit with the chat and to create and maintain the chat session. In our test, the identifiers carried expiry timestamps of about 30 minutes; local-storage entries may remain longer until cleared. The chat is optional and refusal does not affect the rest of the website. This consent does not cover advertising, direct marketing or any other analytics or profiling. You can later select “Withdraw chatbot consent and clear local identifiers” to close and unload the chat and clear the known LeadConnector chatbot identifiers from that browser. Withdrawal does not delete data already transmitted; requests concerning transmitted data can be made using the contact details in the Privacy Policy.
